Teaching w/ Nuance – A Vision for Israel Education – Adina Shoulson & Laura Shaw Frank
June 23, 2020
Adina Shoulson and Laura Shaw Frank address the growing divide between American diaspora Jewry and Israel. They argue that the traditional, black-and-white Israel education of the past no longer works for modern students who have unparalleled access to diverse perspectives. While "nuance" is a popular educational buzzword, they realize it must go deeper than just a "warts-and-all" telling of history.
